- Assist client in developing a building program, ie. list of spaces, qualities and features to be provided in the design.
- Prepare as-built plans and elevations of existing house when required
- Develop concept design(s) which includes floor plans and elevations.
- Develop construction cost estimates for proposed designs.
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications to submit to contractors to bid the project.
- Assist in recommending contractors for the project.
- Assist in obtaining bids from selected contractors.
- Prepare contract between client and selected contractor
- Provide on site observations during construction to make sure structure is being built as designed.
